This program aims to advance the implementation of the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) public health model for children, adolescents, and/or adults. The focus is on primary care and community health settings—including health centers, hospital systems, HMOs, PPOs, health plans, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), behavioral health centers, pediatric health care providers' offices, children’s hospitals, and schools. The primary goal is to enhance screening and intervention for underage drinking, opioid use, and other substance use, improving early identification and referral to treatment for substance use disorders.
