This grant supports the implementation of the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) public health model for children, adolescents, and/or adults in primary care, community health settings (such as health centers, hospital systems, HMOs, PPOs, health plans, Federally Qualified Health Centers, behavioral health centers, pediatric health care offices, and children’s hospitals), and schools. The focus is on screening for underage drinking, opioid use, and other substance use, aiming to expand early identification and intervention for substance misuse.
