This opportunity supports two-year colleges in adopting and implementing the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Science Education Alliance-Phage Hunters Advancing Genomics and Evolutionary Science (SEA-PHAGES) curriculum within biosciences laboratory courses. The program aims to provide authentic, course-based research experiences (CREs) for students with limited or no prior research exposure, fostering a collaborative faculty community and advancing inclusive STEM education. Through partnership with HHMI and the Center for the Advancement of Science Leadership and Culture, this initiative seeks to broaden participation in STEM fields and scale the SEA-PHAGES model across two-year colleges nationwide.
