This program aims to enhance the capacity and ability of Community Development Corporations (CDCs) and Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs) to implement community development and affordable housing activities that benefit low-income persons, homeless individuals, persons with physical disabilities, first responders, and veterans. The program prioritizes rural capacity building and includes a set-aside for Native Hawaiian, American Indian, and Alaska Native communities, especially in rural areas.
