--- ## Description This grant aims to select and support partners to operate EUROPE DIRECT centers across Croatia for the period 2026–2030. These centers serve as local hubs for informing citizens about EU policies, initiatives, and opportunities, fostering dialogue between the EU and the public, and enhancing European civic education and engagement. Centers are expected to be well-integrated into their local communities, organizing communication and information activities on EU topics relevant to their region, either independently or in collaboration with other EU institutions and networks. --- ## Due Dates - July 31, 2025 (17:00 Brussels/CET): Full application submission deadline --- ## Funding Amount - Each selected EUROPE DIRECT center receives a flat-rate grant of **€37,000 per year** (subject to annual EU budget approval) for five years (2026–2030). - The grant covers part of the center’s operating costs; partners must provide additional financial and operational resources (e.g., premises, staff, equipment). - The total indicative budget for 2026 is **€370,000**. - Payment is split: 70% pre-financing, 30% after approval of the final report. --- ## Eligibility Applicants must be legal entities established in Croatia from one of the following categories: - Public bodies (e.g., municipalities, regional/local authorities) - Private bodies providing public services - Associations or unions of local authorities - Non-profit organizations, associations, or foundations - Civil society organizations - Social partners - Educational or vocational training institutions **Individuals are not eligible.** Only single applicants (not consortia) are accepted, but affiliated entities and subcontracting (up to 30%) are permitted. Selected centers must: - Be located outside Zagreb (the EC Representation is in Zagreb) - Meet minimum regional distribution: at least 3 in Adriatic Croatia, 2 in Pannonian Croatia, 1 in Northern Croatia - Have accessible premises, dedicated contact details, online presence, and a qualified project team --- ## Application Process - Applications must be submitted **electronically** via the [EU Funding & Tenders Portal](https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tenders/opportunities/portal/screen/opportunities/topic-details/ED-2025-CROATIA-FPA?isExactMatch=true&status=31094501,31094502&order=DESC&pageNumber=10&pageSize=50&sortBy=startDate) by the deadline. - Process: 1. Register for an EU Login and register your organization in the Participant Register to obtain a PIC number. 2.
