Summary: Supports Luxembourg-based partners to operate EUROPE DIRECT centres, fostering EU-citizen engagement, information, and civic education.
This funding opportunity, offered by the European Commission Representation in Luxembourg, seeks partners to operate EUROPE DIRECT centres from 2026 to 2030. EUROPE DIRECT centres play a key role in connecting the European Union with its citizens by providing information on EU policies and actions, listening to the concerns of citizens, and engaging in dialogue about the EU’s impact on daily life. They also contribute to European civic education and help foster a European public sphere. Selected partners will sign a Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) for the full period and may receive annual grants to support their activities, contingent on the submission and approval of an Annual Communication Plan.
EUROPE DIRECT centres are expected to work closely with local communities, the European Commission Representation, European Parliament Liaison Offices, other EU outreach networks, and local multipliers to organize communication and outreach activities on EU topics relevant to Luxembourg.
