Description
This opportunity funds a Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) project in Pennsylvania, supporting the Administration for Community Living’s (ACL) mission to empower Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report health care fraud, errors, and abuse. The SMP program achieves this through statewide outreach, counseling, and education, with a focus on those with greatest economic and social need. Funding will support local outreach, education, and assistance using a trained workforce (including volunteers), and activities must address four strategic objectives: group education and one-on-one assistance, workforce recruitment and training, performance monitoring, and adaptability to changing programmatic needs.
