This opportunity provides supplemental funding through a cooperative agreement to support the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Program. The program aims to assist SAKI site-based grantees in solving existing sexual assault cases, preventing future crimes, and delivering justice for survivors and their families. The TTA program offers expertise, training, and technical assistance to enhance law enforcement investigations of sexual assault and violent cold case crimes, supporting the establishment of evidence-based, sustainable practices in collecting and processing forensic evidence, investigating and prosecuting sexual assault cases related to previously unsubmitted or partially tested sexual assault kits, and supporting victims.
