    Description

The Sheldon Danziger Pipeline Grants, offered by the Russell Sage Foundation, are designed to support early-career scholars in the social sciences who are conducting innovative research on economic mobility and access to opportunity in the United States. The program specifically targets research focused on structural barriers to mobility, systemic inequalities, and how individuals, communities, and state entities navigate or challenge these barriers. In addition to funding, grantees are paired with senior mentors for guidance on both their research projects and professional development. The initiative emphasizes diversity, prioritizing applications from scholars who are underrepresented in the social sciences and/or employed at under-resourced institutions.
