The U.S. Mission to Colombia, through the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, seeks proposals for a project that documents how reduced illegal migration has disrupted the operations of criminal networks—specifically Clan del Golfo and Tren de Aragua—that prey on migrants in and through Colombia. The program aims to produce compelling investigative journalism or media content (such as a documentary mini-series or high-impact visual journalism) highlighting both the disruption of illicit financial flows and the ecological recovery in affected regions. The project should center on human stories and testimonies, reinforced by hard data and visual graphics, for dissemination across social and traditional media.
