It also supports functional validation studies (e.g., epigenomic or transcriptomic manipulation, high-throughput screening) to confirm the biological roles of these identified factors. Eligible projects may include mining of existing single cell or spatial genomics datasets (including those from the SCORCH program, BRAIN Initiative, HuBMAP, or investigator-generated data), cross-species analyses, integration with other molecular datasets, and functional characterization using modern genomic tools. Interdisciplinary teams with expertise in single cell analysis, HIV, and addiction neuroscience are encouraged to apply.
