    Description

This forecasted opportunity from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), part of the NIH, will support the ongoing Childhood Cancer Survivor Study (CCSS). The CCSS is a multi-institutional, collaborative research resource with extensive health-related data from over 38,000 five-year survivors of pediatric and adolescent cancer, alongside a sibling control cohort. The program's goal is to collect additional longitudinal data, expand to include survivors treated with modern therapies, and serve as a resource and biorepository for researchers. Research objectives include cancer risk assessments and studies on long-term outcomes to improve treatments for childhood cancer survivors. This is a non-competitive, single-source cooperative agreement intended for the current recipient of the CCSS.
