Description
The SIR Gold Medal is the highest honor awarded by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), established in 1996 to recognize individuals who have demonstrated excellence and lifetime achievement in interventional radiology. This distinction is reserved for those who have provided exceptional service, advanced the quality of patient care, and contributed significantly to the progress and future of the specialty. Recipients are selected by the SIR Gold Medal Awards Committee and confirmed by the SIR Board of Directors.
