This opportunity supports the establishment and operation of the Region 1 Small Business Transportation Technical Assistance Center (SBTTAC), formerly known as the Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC), through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). The SBTTAC will provide technical assistance, business counseling, capital access support, training, and outreach to small businesses in the transportation sector across Region 1 states (CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT). The aim is to strengthen the capacity and competitiveness of small businesses to compete for and perform on federal, state, local, and private transportation contracts.
