This opportunity funds the establishment and operation of the Region 2 Small Business Transportation Technical Assistance Center (SBTTAC), formerly known as the Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC). The SBTTAC will deliver technical assistance, business training, outreach, and counseling to help small businesses in the transportation sector (including maintenance, rehabilitation, improvement, or revitalization of any mode of transportation) compete for, obtain, and manage U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)-funded contracts and subcontracts at federal, state, and local levels. The program aims to strengthen the capacity, competitiveness, and readiness of small businesses within Region 2, which includes the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Virgin Islands, Virginia, and West Virginia.
