Description
The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is soliciting applications to establish and operate the Region 6 Small Business Transportation Technical Assistance Center (SBTTAC), formerly known as the Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC). The center will provide technical assistance, training, business counseling, and outreach to small businesses in transportation sectors across Region 6 (Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and Guam). The program aims to strengthen small business capacity and competitiveness for federal, state, local, and private transportation contracts.
The award is a cooperative agreement for a 12-month base year, with potential for two additional option years based on performance and continued funding. The SBTTAC must deliver outcome-driven services, including capital infusion assistance, individualized business counseling, structured training, outreach, and referrals to USDOT programs.
