Description
UN Women, under the Challenging Harmful Attitudes and Norms for Gender Equality (CHANGE) programme, is offering small grants to civil society organizations (CSOs) in Uzbekistan. These grants aim to strengthen the institutional capacity of organizations supporting survivors of violence and engaging in legislative advocacy for gender-based violence (GBV) and women's rights. The initiative is implemented in partnership with the European Union, UNDP, and UNFPA, and focuses on empowering organizations to engage in evidence-based legislative reform, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing, ultimately improving the prevention of and response to GBV in Uzbekistan.
