This grant funds arts projects in north central Minnesota that develop or enhance artists, organizations, or audiences through a wide range of creative activities across all artistic disciplines.

Funding Amounts: Up to $1,000 per project; projects must be completed within 12 months of award notification.

Description
This grant, administered by the Five Wings Arts Council with support from the McKnight Foundation, funds small-scale arts projects that foster the development or enhancement of local or regional artists, arts organizations, or arts audiences in Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena counties in north central Minnesota. Projects may include initiating cultural activities, supplementing existing programming, or providing enrichment, education, or participatory opportunities. Supported activities span all artistic disciplines, including but not limited to performances, exhibitions, guest artist contracts, organizational development, publications, workshops, and arts awareness projects. Funded projects must be completed within 12 months of notification.
