The Small-Scale Events Advancing SPSSI (SEAS) Grants are designed to support small-scale events and initiatives that promote awareness of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI), foster connections among researchers, and encourage new SPSSI membership. Eligible events include departmental speakers, research symposia, brown-bag sessions, mini-conferences, and pre-conferences attached to larger meetings, all related to the psychological study of social issues. The grants also support initiatives that build collaborative networks among early career, graduate student, new, and established members. Proposals should clearly outline how SPSSI will be promoted at the event and how the event will advance SPSSI’s goals and interests.
