Description
This opportunity offers Massachusetts municipalities up to 80 hours of hands-on technical assistance from a MassDEP Municipal Assistance Coordinator (MAC) to support a single recycling or waste reduction project. The assistance is designed to help cities and towns address high-priority challenges such as solid waste management, recycling program improvements, or Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) initiatives. Projects must demonstrate municipal commitment, including staff involvement, and are selected competitively based on need and the availability of MACs.
