--- ## Description This grant opportunity funds research projects that investigate the social and economic impacts of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain regions. PFAS are persistent chemicals found in many products and environments, presenting long-term risks to both ecosystems and human communities. The program seeks studies that address critical knowledge gaps in PFAS exposure, risk communication, economic consequences, and policy evaluation. Research should focus on groups living, working, or recreating within the targeted regions and propose clear, priority-aligned research questions.
