    Description

    This award offers U.S. academics and professionals the opportunity to teach, conduct research, or undertake professional projects at one of South Africa’s 26 universities or technical universities. Grantees may engage in undergraduate or graduate teaching, curriculum development, research, professional/artistic projects, or a combination of these activities in the social sciences and humanities. The program aims to foster academic exchange, strengthen institutional linkages, and promote mutual understanding between the United States and South Africa. Scholars are encouraged to participate in outreach, such as public talks and mentoring, supporting the Fulbright mission of expanding cross-cultural relationships.
