Description
The Advancing Pedology Award honors outstanding, recent contributions to the field of pedology, as recognized by the Soil Science Society of America (SSSA). The award is designed to celebrate individuals at any career stage—including graduate students—who have made a significant, well-defined advancement in soil formation, classification, morphology, genesis, or mapping. The recipient is expected to present their work at the Advancing Pedology Colloquium during the ASA-CSSA-SSSA International Annual Meeting.
