--- ## Description The EPA South Florida Program provides competitive cooperative agreements to support research, demonstration, and monitoring projects that address immediate and emerging ecological pressures on south Florida's aquatic ecosystems. The program aims to generate information for management decisions, inform agency policy, and advance understanding of the region's water resources. Funded activities may include experiments, studies, surveys, demonstrations, trainings, and investigations relevant to management questions and concerns central to the economic and ecological wellbeing of south Florida. Priority areas include aquatic habitat restoration, responses to severe weather events, water quality monitoring and modeling, community-based projects, coral reef health, reduction of harmful algal blooms, and stormwater/nutrient pollutant reduction.
