Funding Amounts: Up to $5,000 (artist fee subsidy, 50% maximum) plus up to $2,000 for eligible expenses (for DC, DE, PR, USVI, WV); minimum request $1,000; 1:1 match required; project period: Sept 2027–Dec 2028 (projected).

Description
This program supports small and mid-size arts and community organizations in the mid-Atlantic region to present performing arts engagements—such as public performances and community engagement activities. The initiative aims to broaden access to the arts, prioritize projects with strong mission impact and artistic quality, and foster meaningful engagement with communities, especially those systemically underserved by the arts. Funding is available for a portion of artist fees and, in select jurisdictions, additional direct project expenses. The program emphasizes diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible programming.
