Description
The Springboard Awards, funded by the Wellcome Foundation in partnership with the Academy of Medical Sciences and other supporters, provide early-career, non-clinical biomedical researchers in the UK with financial support, mentoring, and professional development. The scheme aims to help newly independent scientists launch and sustain their research careers by offering a tailored package of funding and career support. In addition to research funding, awardees gain access to the Academy’s mentoring scheme and a range of development activities.
