The SRCD Distinguished Contributions to Advancing Research on Child Development in the Majority World Award recognizes exceptional scholarly contributions that deepen knowledge of child development within communities across the Majority World. Established in 2024 by the International Affairs Committee of the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD), this biennial award is presented at the SRCD Biennial Meeting. The award aims to highlight and celebrate research that addresses child development issues, challenges, and progress in global contexts that are often underrepresented in developmental science.
