Fellows undertake a year-long independent research project at one of RAND's U.S. locations (Santa Monica, CA; Washington, DC; or Pittsburgh, PA), with opportunities to collaborate on RAND client-sponsored research. The program encourages innovative thinking and policy analysis in nuclear security, with fellows expected to produce studies that contribute meaningfully to the field.
