This opportunity supports the operation of the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) National Technical Assistance Center. The Center will serve as a centralized resource, providing information, expertise, and technical assistance to SHIP grantee projects across all U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The SHIP program’s mission is to empower, educate, and assist Medicare-eligible individuals, their families, and caregivers through objective outreach, counseling, and training, enabling informed health insurance decisions and optimized access to care and benefits.
The funded Technical Assistance Center will play a critical role in supporting SHIP grantees by offering guidance, best practices, training, and resources to enhance the effectiveness and reach of SHIP services nationwide.
