This program aims to strengthen and expand integrated, evidence-based substance use disorder (SUD) and maternal mental health services for pregnant and postpartum women and their families. The initiative focuses on improving maternal and infant health outcomes by addressing SUD and co-occurring mental health conditions through comprehensive screening, treatment, recovery supports, and workforce development. Priority is given to pregnant and postpartum women with primary diagnoses of SUDs (including opioid use disorder), their infants and families, and communities disproportionately impacted by maternal morbidity and mortality.
