The States’ Economic Development Assistance Program (SEDAP) is a major initiative of the Delta Regional Authority (DRA) designed to fund impactful projects in basic public infrastructure, transportation infrastructure, business development (with an emphasis on entrepreneurship), and workforce development. SEDAP aims to stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and improve quality of life in the DRA’s multi-state region, including parts of Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee.
Projects supported by SEDAP must be located within the DRA region and demonstrate strong community demand, measurable outcomes, and alignment with both DRA priorities and local/regional development plans. Collaboration with local stakeholders, especially Local Development Districts (LDDs), is highly encouraged both in project design and application preparation.
