Description
The Steel Intern Scholarships are designed to support students interested in careers within the iron and steel industry. Recipients participate in a paid summer internship at a North American steel-producing or steel-related company, after which they receive a one-year scholarship. The program aims to foster industry interest among students in engineering, computer science, data science, environmental/sustainability science, and safety disciplines. The Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) assists with internship placement and industry connections.
