Funding Amounts: Full registration plus up to US$600 (high-income countries) or US$360 (non-high-income countries) for conference travel; up to US$1,500 per plant tour.

Description
The Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST) Foundation's Steel to Students Training Program provides funding for post-secondary vocational, undergraduate, and graduate students to attend AIST Technology Training Conferences and AIST Member Chapter annual meetings that feature a technical program. The program covers full registration costs and offers travel reimbursement to encourage student engagement, professional development, and networking within the global iron and steel industry. In addition, the Student Plant Tour Travel Reimbursement Grant supports group visits to steel plants by reimbursing travel expenses.
