Description
The Anthropic Economic Futures program is a multidisciplinary initiative aimed at advancing rigorous research, policy development, and data infrastructure to help society understand and navigate the economic transformation driven by AI. The program has three pillars:
- Research Grants: Funding for empirical studies on AI’s economic impacts, including labor market effects, productivity, and new value creation.
- Policy Symposia: Collaborative events connecting researchers, policymakers, and industry to evaluate evidence-based policy proposals and actionable recommendations.
- Data Infrastructure: Expansion of the Anthropic Economic Index and development of longitudinal datasets on AI’s economic usage and impacts.
The program is designed for economists, data scientists, policy practitioners, and research institutions interested in AI’s economic implications.
