Description
This funding opportunity seeks to enhance public health capacity and global health security in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) by building on existing CDC-supported activities. The program aims to foster partnerships with the DRC Ministry of Health and other governmental institutions to:
- Prevent avoidable epidemics, including naturally occurring outbreaks and accidental or intentional releases of dangerous pathogens.
- Improve the ability to detect public health threats early by enhancing surveillance, characterization, and reporting systems.
