    Description

The U.S. Mission to Brazil, through its Public Diplomacy Section, invites proposals for the implementation of the U.S. Speaker and Specialist Program in Brazil. This initiative aims to foster robust connections between Brazil and the United States by promoting the exchange of knowledge, professional collaboration, and shared learning. The program will bring American experts to engage with Brazilian institutions and professionals across the public, private, and academic sectors.

Priority areas include energy, innovation, technology, freedom of expression, public safety, and commercial development. Activities may involve lectures, workshops, seminars, and training sessions—both in-person and virtual—across Brazil, designed to share practical expertise, build skills, and encourage ongoing collaboration. The program is expected to deliver approximately 15–30 activities, reaching at least 500 participants and generating measurable outcomes in professional development and bilateral engagement.

The award will be structured as a cooperative agreement, with substantial involvement from the U.S. Embassy in program direction, speaker selection, and logistics oversight.
