Description
This program provides funding to develop and implement strategies aimed at preventing and reducing violence in K–12 schools. Supported activities include training for students and staff, development of threat assessment and intervention teams, deployment of anonymous reporting technologies, and other innovative school safety approaches. The overarching goal is to better equip students, teachers, and staff to recognize, respond to, and prevent acts of violence in educational settings.
