Description
This program funds initiatives to prevent and reduce school violence by supporting training for school personnel, law enforcement, and students; developing and operating anonymous reporting systems; forming school threat assessment and intervention teams; and providing specialized training for responding to mental health crises. The goal is to equip schools with tools and strategies to recognize, respond to, and prevent acts of violence, in alignment with the STOP School Violence Act of 2018. Projects that fall outside these allowable uses will not be funded.
