Description
The Suffolk Carers Fund, managed by Suffolk Community Foundation and supported by Suffolk County Council, provides grants to organisations working with adults who provide unpaid care to other adults (such as family members or friends who are older, disabled, or seriously ill). The programme aims to ease the challenges faced by unpaid carers by funding projects that offer recreational or creative activities, counselling, dementia cafés, short breaks, and initiatives that improve carers' wellbeing, choice, and control. The fund is especially interested in grassroots, innovative, and gap-filling projects, as well as those that help carers become more confident with technology or access opportunities for rest and social connection.
