Description
The Artist Accelerator Program at Sundance Institute is designed to empower independent storytellers by providing a blend of financial support, yearlong fellowships, project advancement and completion grants, individualized mentorship, and community-building opportunities. Launched in 2021, the program aims to address the evolving needs of artists in a rapidly changing creative and economic landscape. It offers both open-call and invitation-based opportunities, supporting artists at various stages of their careers and projects. The program also collaborates with peer organizations and public agencies to expand access, equity, and sustainability in the independent storytelling ecosystem.
