Description
The Sundance Institute Artist Accelerator Program is designed to address the evolving needs of independent storytellers by providing a suite of resources including financial support, mentorship, and professional development. With an artist-first philosophy, the program supports emerging and mid-career artists working across film, episodic, and new media, helping them navigate an increasingly fragmented and competitive creative landscape. The program encompasses yearlong fellowships, project advancement and completion grants, and partnerships that expand access and equity for diverse voices in independent storytelling. Since its launch, the program has supported over 200 artists, aiming to foster both individual artistic growth and systemic improvements in the field.
