--- ## Description This grant supports projects that assist stakeholders in the CO₂ infrastructure network with the implementation of the upcoming EU legislative framework for CO₂ transport and storage. The initiative targets key issues such as market and cost structures, cross-border integration, interoperability, technical harmonisation, investment incentives, third-party access, liability management, regulatory authorities, tariff regulation, ownership and contractual models, and the broader legislative landscape across the CO₂ value chain. Deliverables must include a comprehensive review of challenges in repurposing existing infrastructure for CO₂, taking into account renewable gas infrastructure needs, and address technical feasibility, costs, synergies, regulatory barriers, CO₂ quality, system flexibility, robustness, and interconnections with energy infrastructures. --- ## Due Dates - March 31, 2027: Full application submission deadline (by 17:00 Brussels time) --- ## Funding Amount - Total budget available: €5,000,000 (2027 call) - Indicative number of grants: 1 - Funding is provided as a lump sum grant under the Horizon Europe "Coordination and Support Actions" (CSA) scheme. --- ## Eligibility - Open to legal entities from eligible countries as defined in [Annex B of the Horizon Europe Work Programme General Annexes](https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tenders/opportunities/docs/2021-2027/horizon/wp-call/2026-2027/wp-15-general-annexes_horizon-2026-2027_en.pdf). - Eligible applicants include organizations established in EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
