--- ## Description This European Commission Horizon Europe call aims to strengthen the Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan) community by supporting coordination and alignment among stakeholder fora such as European Technology and Innovation Platforms (ETIPs), SET Plan Implementation Working Groups (IWGs), and similar bodies across key clean energy sectors. The objective is to facilitate the effective implementation of the SET Plan, in harmony with major EU strategies including the European Green Deal, REPowerEU, the Green Deal Industrial Plan, and the Net Zero Industry Act. Funded projects are expected to: - Develop research and innovation roadmaps, strategic analyses, and dissemination activities tailored to sectoral and emerging EU policy needs. - Foster broad participation from industry, research organizations, civil society, and national authorities. - Address societal and economic impacts of the clean energy transition. - Contribute to EU information systems and policy reporting, and prepare for the sustainability of stakeholder fora beyond EU funding. --- ## Due Dates - Call opens: May 6, 2025 - Submission deadline: September 2, 2025 (17:00 Brussels time) --- ## Funding Amount - Total available budget: €7,500,000 - Indicative grant per project: approximately €500,000 - Up to 15 projects will be funded, with only one project per sector - Project duration: typically 2 years --- ## Eligibility - Proposals must support stakeholder fora in one of the following sectors: geothermal energy, hydropower, ocean energy, photovoltaics, renewable fuels and bioenergy, solar thermal energy, renewable heating and cooling, direct solar fuels, wind energy, energy efficiency in buildings, efficient energy use in industry, direct current technologies, carbon capture storage and use, hydrogen, or energy systems. - Proposals must include broad participation from industrial players (including SMEs), research and civil society organizations, universities, and relevant European associations across several SET Plan countries. - Eligible countries: EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
