Summary: Funds one organization to provide tailored technical assistance and start-up support to Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program recipients to accelerate adoption of innovative HIV care interventions.
This opportunity, offered by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau, will fund a single organization to provide and evaluate tailored technical assistance (TA) to Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) recipients. The initiative aims to help RWHAP recipients and providers overcome barriers to implementing evidence-informed and evidence-based HIV care interventions by delivering needs-based TA and one-time start-up funding. The program supports an implementation science approach, focusing on adapting, implementing, and evaluating innovative HIV care models, with the goal of improving HIV health outcomes and reducing HIV transmission.
The selected organization will identify at least 20 RWHAP recipient and provider sites, divided into two phases, to receive short-term, tailored support. The awardee will help these sites adapt or replicate interventions, develop sustainability plans, and disseminate resources and lessons learned to the broader HIV care community.
