Key Information: This is a forecasted opportunity; dates and details are subject to change.
This funding opportunity will support a single organization to implement and evaluate tailored technical assistance (TA) for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) recipients and providers. The goal is to accelerate the adoption of evidence-informed and evidence-based HIV care interventions across the HIV health care system. The funded organization will provide needs-based, tailored TA and resources to help RWHAP recipients overcome barriers to intervention start-up, such as competing priorities and lack of expertise in adapting interventions to diverse organizational settings or client populations. The initiative will also provide a one-time funding amount to cover start-up costs for selected sites.
The project will identify up to 20 RWHAP recipient and/or provider sites (subrecipients), divided into two phases, to receive short-term, tailored implementation support. The recipient will work closely with these sites to assess their needs and develop customized TA and resources, enabling them to adapt or replicate selected emerging, evidence-informed, and evidence-based interventions. This effort is supported by HRSA RWHAP Part F: Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) Program and aims to improve HIV health outcomes and reduce HIV transmission.
