Description
The Susan G. Komen Career Transition Awards (CTA) are designed to support exceptional postdoctoral and clinical fellows as they transition to independent breast cancer research careers. The award provides up to five years of funding in two distinct phases: the first phase supports the final years of mentored, postdoctoral training, and the second phase funds independent research as an early-career, tenure-track investigator. Research must be hypothesis-driven and focused on breast cancer, spanning basic, translational, clinical, or population science. The program aims to foster a diverse cohort of early-career scientists who will become future leaders in breast cancer research.
