    Description

This funding opportunity from the European Space Agency (ESA) seeks proposals for innovative, space-enabled services and applications supporting the sustainability of wetlands. Projects must leverage satellite Earth Observation, satellite communications, or GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) technologies to address challenges such as climate change adaptation, pollution control, biodiversity conservation, water management, carbon capture, sustainable land use, and community livelihoods.

The program is designed as a "Kick-start"—supporting the development of commercially viable services through a six-month feasibility study. ESA provides both technical and commercial guidance, access to its network, and the opportunity to use the ESA brand. The goal is to enable teams to validate their concept, engage with users, and develop a business case for further ESA support.
