Description
The SWOG Trial Support (STrS) program, administered by The Hope Foundation in partnership with SWOG, provides peer-reviewed funding for essential, non-standard components of cancer clinical trials during patient enrollment. Its goal is to prevent delays in trial activation and ensure the collection of critical data by supporting needs such as atypical tissue or data collection, provision of materials to trial sites, and patient-reported outcomes. STrS primarily funds core trial components and biomarker-related work not covered by other sources, with a focus on projects likely to inform future SWOG protocols and improve patient outcomes.
