Description
The SWOG Trial Support (STrS) program, managed by The Hope Foundation in partnership with SWOG, provides peer-reviewed funding for essential components of activated SWOG cancer clinical trials. The initiative is designed to address urgent trial needs that arise during patient enrollment, especially those not typically supported under standard SWOG protocols. Eligible requests include atypical tissue or data requests, provision of materials to trial sites, patient-reported outcomes (PROs), and core trial components, as well as integral and integrated biomarkers with high potential to inform future SWOG protocols and impact patient outcomes. The program aims to prevent delays in trial activation and enable real-time collection of critical data, ultimately enhancing the quality and effectiveness of SWOG cancer trials.
