The Teaching Innovation Fellows program, sponsored by the Office of the Dean of the Faculty at Williams College, is designed to inspire and support established faculty as they develop new courses, overhaul existing ones, and incorporate innovative teaching methods. The initiative specifically targets experienced faculty who face unique challenges in sustaining pedagogical goals amidst institutional and curricular demands. The program encourages the creation of brand new or substantially revised, ideally collaborative, courses that extend beyond current curricular boundaries. Projects with lasting curricular value, interdisciplinary and cross-divisional collaborations, and those that incorporate experiential learning, community engagement, sustainability, or new technologies are prioritized.
