The Teaching Roundtable Program, administered by the Rice Center for Teaching at Williams College, is designed to foster the exchange of ideas about effective teaching among faculty. Participants are organized into small, self-governed groups—typically of four—that meet regularly throughout the semester to discuss pedagogy and observe each other’s teaching styles. The program emphasizes collegiality, open dialogue, and the development of teaching practices in a supportive, non-evaluative environment. The ultimate aim is to build lasting professional relationships and enhance the overall teaching culture at Williams College.
