The Technology Matching Fund (TMF) is a key initiative of the City of Seattle’s Digital Equity Program, designed to support community-driven projects that promote digital equity and empower historically underserved or underrepresented residents. TMF grants fund projects that increase internet access and adoption, such as digital navigator services, digital literacy classes, device provision and technical support, and expanding internet connectivity for low-income residents. The program encourages collaboration with the Department of Neighborhoods and Seattle IT’s Digital Equity Team to maximize outreach and impact, aiming to close the digital divide and build a technology-healthy city.
