Description
The Coby Foundation provides grants to museums and other 501(c)(3) cultural organizations in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions for projects related to textiles, fashion, and the needle arts. Funding supports exhibitions (planning and implementation), public programs, publications, conservation, digitization, cataloging, and community engagement initiatives. The Foundation prioritizes projects that offer innovative scholarship, highlight underrepresented artists and cultures, or focus on textile collections that have not been thoroughly studied, preserved, or shared. Only direct project costs are eligible for funding; staff salaries and overhead are not covered.
