Description
The Thoracic Surgical Robotics Fellowship, offered by the American Association for Thoracic Surgery Foundation, provides an immersive educational and hands-on training experience for North American general thoracic surgeons at an early career stage. The program centers on a one-day, faculty-led Clinical Skills Course at Intuitive Surgical’s Atlanta facility, with structured pre-course and post-course requirements to ensure longitudinal skill development. Fellows will participate in didactic and procedural training in advanced thoracic robotic procedures using the da Vinci Surgical System, including simulator drills, technical skill modules, and case-based discussions.
